Cut on a slant to fit the body shape not straight pieces. The tabards are reversible, lined with same color pleather, dark chocolate brown. There is no top stitching on the Episode 3 Anakin Tabards. If you would like the seam at the waistline, let me know. Since the tabard has a sash over it and a utility belt, I think it is not necessary however, if you want it I will put it in for you. Also the tabards start at 6 inches wide at the shoulders, for the small and go up 1/2 inch in width in the grade for larger sizes to keep up with the proportion of the shoulders and the body. The same applies to the length, 2 inches longer for each size starting at 33 inches for the XS.
